It’s a Kitchen Party on The Celtic Show

News

Andy Donnelly has been hosting The Celtic Show on CKUA for 26 years, and his reaction upon learning that the program has a dedicated supporting sponsor for the first time was short and sweet—and very typically Donnelly: “I’m tickled to bits.”

PF Custom Countertops in Edmonton is well known as a family business that invests in the local community, and Andy is thrilled that they’ve chosen to support The Celtic Show and CKUA. “That’s fantastic. I’m so happy that a family company is supporting us. We help each other achieve community.” Andy says that when he mentions PF Custom Countertops on the air each Friday night, he hears from people who appreciate the partnership and the community support.

It’s fitting that a countertop provider is supporting The Celtic Show, because everyone knows that a house party is a success when everyone gathers in the kitchen. When he’s asked what songs he would play at a kitchen party, Andy mentions “St. John’s” by The Fables and “The Mary Ellen Carter” by Stan Rogers.

As for his thoughts on the partnership, PF Countertops’ President John Holzapfel says, “Just as CKUA has been part of the Alberta community for many years, PF Custom Countertops, for the past 51 years, has been providing stone, solid surface, and laminate countertops to consumers, bringing their homes to life. Our sponsorship of The Celtic Show reflects how we continue to support locally-based organizations that share the same values, while providing programming that aligns with our own customers.”

Thank you so much to everyone at PF Custom Countertops for their generous support of The Celtic Show on CKUA.
