Join CKUA for a free, live-to-air performance by musician Aladean Kheroufi. Presented as a Downtown Spark event and hosted by Grant Stovel, it will take place between noon and 1pm on Thursday, May 25, in the park directly west of the CKUA Building at 9804 Jasper Avenue.
Says Grant, “Aladean has turned out to be one of my favourite singer-songwriters. He’s truly a multi-talented artist, and also happens to be one of the most genuine, down-to-earth people out there. He just loves music, and is endlessly curious about where it could go next!”
Kate Stevens adds, “I’m absolutely enamoured with Aladean’s sound and the work he’s done on Kimberlite. He’s got a knack of making it feel timeless but not dated, incredibly warm and moving but not frantic. I cannot wait to hear the live show. Aladean Kheroufi is truly an Albertan treasure.”
