North Country Fair has been celebrating summer solstice in northern Alberta since 1979 and, this year, the festival continues in new, innovative ways. In partnership with the North Country Fair, CKUA shines a spotlight on one of Alberta’s most unique festival experiences:

We’ll hear what makes the Fair experience so special, through feature interviews with festival organizers, long-time volunteers, musicians like Scott Cook, and journalist Fish Griwkowsky.

Tune in to CKUA at 1pm to hear live performances recorded at the festival, including main stage sets by Hawksley Workman and the Tequila Mockingbird Orchestra.
