George Buri is turning his Jeopardy! loss into a Fringe Theatre win. The History professor from the University of Manitoba achieved a life-long dream when he appeared on the hit quiz show back in 2017.
While he struck out during his big TV debut, the appearance inspired him to create a one-person show titled I Lost on Jeopardy. CKUA’s Elliott Garnier spoke to George Buri about this exploration of competitiveness, failure, and big dreams.
