CKUA’s Lisa Wilton had a chat with Artistic Director Stafford Arima about Theatre Calgary‘s travelling production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
This summer, instead of its usual location, the Shakespeare by the Bow program will be hitting the road with performances popping up in various Calgary neighbourhoods under a new name: Shakespeare on the Go. From July 14 to August 6, a group of seven up-and-coming artists will be performing a condensed 75-minute version of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. This hilarious play, which has been a crowd favourite, will be presented with a vaudevillian twist.
