Vertigo Theatre presents The Extractionist, a world premiere production by Calgary playwright Michaela Jeffery. The play follows the story of Asha Ray, an expert deprogrammer who specializes in extracting people from cults. When Asha is hired to locate a vulnerable woman who has fallen under the spell of a secretive organization, she finds herself caught in a web of intrigue and the target of dangerous and powerful people. The Extractionist premieres January 28 and runs until February 26.
