One doesn’t necessarily think of capturing senior citizens in love as something radical, or underground, but Love: The Last Chapter is pretty groundbreaking in that regard.
It’s being featured on Wednesday, November 23, 2021, as the opening night film for CUFF.Docs, presented by the Calgary Underground Film Festival. The CUFF.Docs festival is returning to Calgary’s Globe Cinema to unspool 19 features and 20 short films, November 24 through 28.
The opening night presentation includes a screening of Love: The Last Chapter, plus a Q&A with director Dominique Keller, who took her camera into intimate spaces shared by couples in the twilight of their years.
