Theatre and social media always seem to be at odds with one another. Before every show you are told to turn off your cell phones, remove yourself from the real world, and separate from technology.
Calgary’s Verb Theatre and their Blue Light Festival are daring to undermine the long standing traditions of live theatre. In April 2020 they are presenting their experimental on-stage experience online; through the mediums of Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat and beyond.
