Live stream performances are becoming the norm, but how do you offer an entire music festival online? This is the goal of Tim Tamashiro and the JazzYYC VIRTUAL International Jazz Days Festival.
With music festivals being cancelled around the world this year, JazzYYC is taking their event online. Tim Tamashiro is the jazz vocalist and broadcaster behind a new online project called Jazz Home Delivery.
The month-long festival featuring local and Canadian jazz vocalists and musicians, including Elizabeth Shepherd, Oliver Miguel and Cory Weeds.
Lisa Wilton spoke with Tim about how the festival moved from the real world into the virtual one:
