The Calgary Folk Music Festival is always a jewel in Alberta’s summer festival season, featuring artists from Canada and around the world for four days of music and celebration, at five daytime stages and two evening stages. This year’s lineup includes Courtney Barnett, Ifriqiyya Electrique, Josh Ritter, Black Pumas, Matt Andersen, Squirrel Nut Zippers, and so many more.
This week, we crossed the bridge to Prince’s Island Park with Grant Stovel and Meg Wilcox as they look ahead to the Calgary Folk Fest.
