Russel Broom plays guitar

Russell Broom is a Calgary based producer/guitarist/composer/songwriter/engineer. Well known for his work with Jann Arden, producing the albums “Greatest Hurts”, “Love Is The Only Soldier”, “Jann Arden”, “Uncover Me” and most recently, the 2023 JUNO nominated “Descendant”.

Russel has had success producing albums and singles for artists such as Jason McCoy, Kyle McKearney, Art Bergmann, Chixdiggit, JP Maurice, Leeroy Stagger, The Dudes, Dojo Workhorse, Sykamore, Kadooh, Michael Bernard Fitzgerald, Lindsay Ell, The Dungarees, Jeffrey Straker and many more.

As a guitarist, he has played on records and performed for artists including Jann Arden, Ian Tyson, Terri Clark, Art Bergmann, Robbie Williams, Josh Groban, Johnny Reid, Tom Cochrane, The Rankin Family, Brett Kissel, Mariel Buckley, Martin Page, Chip Taylor, Rhys Fulber, Iskwe, Mike Edel, Greg Godovitz, Jay Semko and many more.
