Kiona Ligtvoet is a Cree-Metis multi-disciplinary artist, whose latest exhibition, “And in spring we’ll wait for lilacs,” is on now at The New Gallery in Calgary.
The work explores intergenerational loss and longing, but her paintings also aim to provide reassurance in the viewer.
