Terry David Mulligan talks Bard & Beatles with Daryl Cloran

Join Terry David Mulligan for Saturday’s broadcast of Mulligan Stew, 5-7pm, where he will be spinning a few Beatles tunes and sharing an interview with Daryl Cloran, the Artistic Director of the Citadel Theatre in Edmonton.

Opening at the Citadel Theatre on Saturday is “As You Like It”, Shakespeare’s wonderful romantic comedy, set in Vancouver in the 1960s, complete with professional wrestling, and 25 songs by The Beatles! It brings some of the 20th century’s most legendary music, stunning wrestling moves, and a whole lot of fun to the Citadel Theatre – and the first performance is this Saturday!

“As You Like It” cleverly blends Shakespeare’s gift with language and 25 Beatles songs performed live, including She Loves You, I Want to Hold Your Hand, Let It Be and Here Comes the Sun. Will you love it? Yeah, yeah, yeah.

“Like it? I loved it. This one’s a hit.” –  Georgia Straight

“You’d have to be a real nowhere man not to be on your feet and singing along.” -Vancouver Sun

Tickets for the first week are nearly sold out. Book yours, and make sure to arrive early for the pre-show Superstar Wrestling match!

“As You Like It” runs from Feb 15 – Mar 15, 2020 at Edmonton’s Citadel Theatre.
