By the time we got to WayneStock…

CKUA Summer

Spotlight on WayneStock
10am – 11am MT
Discoveries with host Leo Crips

The town of Wayne, just 10 km from Drumheller, is home to the Last Chance Saloon, established in 1913. The town has a storied history, and the saloon has seen a rebirth as a gathering place and live music venue. Leo Cripps looks ahead to WayneStock, the festival that will host performances on three different stages over the Labour Day weekend.

Leo will chat with performers The Red Hot Hayseeds, Amy Nelson, The Dust Collectors, and Carter Felker. He’ll also learn more about this eclectic festival from Paula Sutherland, one of the organizers of WayneStock.

Canmore Folk Fest hula hooping workshop instructor and CKUA monthly donor, Tessa Mendoza.
