The Family Crow: A Murder Mystery

The Family Crow: A Murder Mystery is combining all three of these things to weave a humorous tale of intrigue at the 2023 Edmonton International Fringe Theatre Festival. It’s the creation of renowned Toronto-based puppet artist Adam Francis Proulx, who promises an hour-long investigative mystery story — like Agatha Christie, but a puppet and plenty of groaners. It’s a one-man-and-one-puppet show, starring crow detective Horatio P. Corvus… with the remainder of the roles played by Adam.
The show is coming off a sold-out run of festivals across North America and, to quote the producers, “The critics are raven!”

The Family Crow: A Murder Mystery runs through August 26th at La Cite Francophone, as part of this year’s Edmonton Fringe. During his stay in Edmonton, Adam swooped into CKUA’s Edmonton studios for a visit with CKUA’s Grant Stovel.
