Speak Up! Exhibition adds Buffy Sainte-Marie, more

Just in time for National Indigenous Peoples Day, Buffy Sainte-Marie and ‘Master of the Métis Fiddle’ John Arcand have been added to the National Music Centre’s Speak Up! Exhibition. The evolving exhibition honours Indigenous artists making social impacts in Canada.

On Monday, June 21, 2021 on Alberta Morning, CKUA’s Grant Stovel spoke with the exhibition’s curator, David McLeod, about the launch of the online version of Speak Up! on June 21. The physical exhibit opens July 1 alongside Studio Bell’s reopening and five-year anniversary celebrations.
