Today, the Government of Alberta announced $17 Million dollars in stabilization funding for Alberta’s Performing Arts, Sports, and Rodeo Sectors. The Stabilize Program will provide one-time grant funding to support live experiences presenting and performing arts, sport and rodeo organizations.
The aim is to help organizations continue to operate and re-open when safe to do so. Leela Sharon Aheer is Alberta’s Minister of Culture, Multiculturalism and Status of Women. She recently joined Tony King to share more about the new initiative:
