‘Landed’ explores immigration, borders, and adaptation

Three visual artists from across Canada have teamed up to generate a dialogue surrounding the themes of their work at Medicine Hat’s Esplanade. The Landed exhibition explores the complexities of immigration, borders, and cultural adaptation.

Each one has taken a different creative approach resulting in three unique bodies of work entitled Other Landscapes, Borderline, and Becoming Words. Landed will run at the Esplanade until February 27th. Find out more at esplanade.ca.

CKUA’s Rudy Howell spoke with visual artists Anahita Norouzi, Andreas Rutkauskas, and Nurgul Rodriguez about the inspiration and presentation of their works:
