Morningsong unfolds in reflection of that special Sunday morning pace as the world around us awakens in phases and stages. The first hour features unaccompanied solo instruments, followed by an hour of duos, chamber groups and other small ensembles. The third hour brings orchestral works into focus before culminating in one vocal piece to set up the rest of the day’s song-dominated programming.
