Pedro Barbáchano will be giving a tour of his Exhibition Shibboleth in The New Gallery’s main space on April 27th at 1PM MST. Join us as Pedro Barbáchano guides us through the thought processes, concepts and creation of his exhibition Shibboleth.

When history is written and when artifacts are collected, who decides what is worth keeping? In Through his use of sculpture and photographic mediation, Barbáchano imagines how communities that have been historically persecuted can emerge and maintain their voices, while his use of materials challenges viewers to reconsider their preconceived notions of authenticity and value.
