Safe Spaces for Community Within the Arts – Round Table Discussion

Latitude 53 is excited to present a round table discussion on Safe Spaces for Community within the Arts, facilitated by Shima Robinson, Austin Mihkwâw, and Kieran Quirke, along with live ASL interpretation.

In this discussion, we hope to provide insight and foster discussion into how we as community organizations can provide a safe space for everyone. Facilitators will discuss outreach methods, harm reduction, residual care, Indigenous considerations into community issues and mentoring opportunities, first aid, bio-psycho-social considerations, and social supports.

While we hope to host fellow arts organizations in-person at our space, this discussion will also be accessible online via Zoom for those who are unable to attend! Registration is required.
