RJ LeBlanc & Heyday

Montreal-based bassist RJ LeBlanc’s newest project, Heyday, is an eclectic, highly energetic band mixing finesse and feel-good in beautiful ways. Five of the city’s most versatile and prolific musicians with influences from post-rock to R&B and beyond tastefully maintain the spirit of jazz as a thread weaving their music together.

RJ has been a part of the Canadian music scene since the start of this century performing with jazz musicians like Jean-Michel Pilc and Carol Welsman along with rock bands like The Dears. This is his fourth and most ambitious album, so far.
