Perspectives

Sunday, May 12th

Put some spring in your step with an afternoon of warm and joyous music!

Our big, talented, full-range choir will treat you to tunes by Bobby McFerrin, Gioachino Rossini (yes, The Barber of Seville!), and … the Spice Girls!
We’ll fill the room with a traditional Zulu song, tell you what happened after a century-old Antarctic mission, and conjure moments of peace and storm in a glorious forest. Bring your mom! It’s Mother’s Day!

Directed by Karen Nell-Bennett, and accompanied by Jon Day.

The concert takes place at 2:30 p.m. at McDougall United Church. Doors open at 2 p.m.

Tickets are $20 (general admission) plus fees and are available online through Eventbrite. Tickets may not be available at the door due to capacity, so get your tickets early!

———————————————————————————-

The CKUA Events Calendar is a listing of music, arts, and culture happenings for the whole province. It is a terrific resource that CKUA offers to the community, to share details about concerts, gallery openings, plays, and films.

Please note that due to the amount of listings, we publish events that focus on music, arts, or culture. While we'd love to publish all submitted items, the sheer number of events means that we sometimes have to decline submissions.

Need to change or update your submitted event?

Email details to feedback@ckua.com and the CKUA team of calendar volunteers will do the rest.
