Mozart | Mass in C Minor

Sunday, May 12th

A special 90-minute, intermission-free concert of Mozart’s incredible Mass in C minor especially for Mother’s Day. With additional bonus piece by Canadian composer of Cree heritage Andrew Balfour: Mamachimowin (A Cree interpretation of Psalm 67) – for choir and strings – premiered in 2019 by the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir, and more.

Also, join us for a pre-concert presentation with Fabio Morabito, Assistant Professor of Musicology, University of Alberta Music Department. Fabio’s award-winning research in historical musicology is focused on music of Mozart’s era, and will bring a wealth of information to this presentation in the hour prior to the concert on the 3rd floor lobby.
