McKindred

Thursday, May 9th

Americana band McKINDRED brings haunting harmonies to the historic King Eddy stage on Thursday, May 9, 2024.

What would happen if Noah Kahan and Elle King had a love child? Perhaps they already have… meet McKINDRED.

In the world of McKINDRED, the vibrant and irresistible sounds of “Americana” flourish, with captivating melodies, hauntingly beautiful harmonies and spirited performances. McKindred’s front-woman and songwriter Kelsi McInnes wastes no time connecting with her audiences with her soulful voice and sharp wit. Together with the band; Brooke Loewen, Dave Oostra, Arjun Roy, Colin Munroe and Kristy Petersen, they take to the stage like an ocean wave, bringing life to the music.

The past few years have been a wild ride for McKINDRED: Highlights include being invited to perform at this year’s Bear Creek Folk Music Festival (Aug 2024), Kelsi McInnes partaking in the award-winning Blue Jay Sessions songwriting rounds (Mar 2024), rocking JUNOfest as part of the JUNO Awards in Edmonton (2023), playing Bear Creek Folk Festival (2022), being selected for the Canadian Country Music Awards (CCMA) Off-Country Music Festival concert series in Calgary, as well as CCMA Mentorship Delegates (2022).

McKINDRED has a new single coming out Spring 2024, from the forthcoming album due later this Summer.

Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door.
