Kevin Chen Plays Beethoven’s Emperor

Saturday, March 23rd

Calgary’s rising star Kevin Chen, winner of the International Franz Liszt Piano Competition (2021) and the Concours de Genève (2022), returns to the Winspear stage to play Beethoven’s thrilling and popular “Emperor” Piano Concerto. Rossini’s light-hearted overture from The Barber of Seville is a playful ray of musical sunshine and the perfect prelude to a comedy.

An evening performance on March 23, and an afternoon matinee on March 24.
