James Keelaghan & Jez Lowe
James Keelaghan, Canada’s finest singer-songwriter, and Jez Lowe, the UK’s busiest folk and acoustic performer join forces for a special evening of artistic collaboration at The Arden.
James Keelaghan is an artist who has proven to be a man for all seasons. For almost a quarter of a century now, this poet laureate of the folk and roots music world has gone about his work with a combination of passion, intent and curiosity. Fusing his insatiable appetite for finding the next unique storyline, Keelaghan also forges his music with brilliantly defined craftsmanship and a monogrammed artistic vision, making him one of the most distinctive and readily identifiable voices of the international singer-songwriter community.
Over the past four decades, Jez Lowe has performed for audiences around the world, either accompanying himself on guitar, harmonica, cittern or mandolin, or with his long-time band, The Bad Pennies. Acknowledged as a national treasure on the UK folk circuit and beyond, his songs are among the most widely recorded by other performers. His pace and enthusiasm for writing, performing and touring his 2021 album, Crazy Pagan, shows no sign of waning.
