FoundFest

Friday, March 1st - Sunday, March 3rd

Found Books & Shop is thrilled to announce FoundFest, a three-day event celebrating the dynamic fusion of spoken word, music and literature. Set to take place from March 1 to March 3, 2024, FoundFest promises an immersive experience of raw conversations, mental health awareness, and the powerful synergy of books and music.

FoundFest will take place at Found Books & Shop, a haven for literature enthusiasts and music aficionados alike. With a spotlight on the spoken word, the festival will feature local musicians and authors delving into the depths of their raw experiences and sharing their poignant stories.
Keynote presentations by influential figures will elevate FoundFest to new heights. The lineup includes renowned artists and advocates for mental health: Vivek Shraya, Julie Van Rosendaal, Dallas Smith and Joshua Whitehead.

Each speaker brings a unique perspective, contributing to the festival’s overarching theme of fostering open and authentic dialogues surrounding mental health issues.

FoundFest attendees can expect a diverse range of activities, including live performances, book readings, panel discussions, and interactive sessions. The festival aims to create a space where individuals can engage with thought-provoking content while fostering a sense of community and understanding.
