‘Echo of Everything’ Film

Would you believe a whole film could be inspired by hearing one song? That’s what happened when award winning Calgary Director Cam Chrisitansen was so moved by one musician’s song at Foot Hills Music Institute. It led to the film ‘Echo of Everything’ being created.
Ziggy Ryerson will be playing on April 6 along with Horizon Ridge and David Morrisey at the special screening of the film with Q+A and silent auction.

The filmmaker was at a low point in his life and the musical experiences he had at Fami were transformative and healing and led to this film which looks at why music is so cathartic. It was shot all over the world, France, USA, Canada, Senegal, Spain and has played festivals around the world including premiering at Toronto Hot Docs 2023. It also one the best documentary feature at the On Arts festival in Poland. This is the first public screening in Calgary !
