CPO – Illia Ovcharenko performs Tchaikovsky

Encounter the impressive brilliance of Ukrainian pianist Illia Ovcharenko, winner of the 2022 Honens International Piano Competition, as he performs Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s grand Piano Concerto No. 1 with the Calgary Phil. The Calgary Philharmonic Chorus and soloists then join Music Director Rune Bergmann in Anton Bruckner’s glorious Te Deum, which the composer considered his greatest work and the ultimate statement of faith.
