Broad View International Film Festival

Join us for the 2nd annual Broad View Int’l Film Festival: November 9-11, 2023

Broad View International Film Festival (Broad View) is happening November 9-11, 2023 at the historic Metro
Cinema at the Garneau Theatre. Broad View is dedicated the cinematic works created by women directors to
Edmonton audiences. Established in 2021, Broad View supports and promotes the advancement of women
directors through festival screenings, professional development and leadership training.

Broad View 2023 boasts an exciting and diverse curation of award-winning films – all deliciously projected on the
big screen. There’s something for everyone in this diverse program of films including world cinema, an animation
package with some Oscar-nominated films, a gripping suspense/thriller, a LGBTQ2S film that focuses on a trans
character played by a trans actor, and more. Join us on opening night on Thursday, November 9th for Edmonton
filmmaker (in attendance) Nisreen Baker’s film Arab Women Say What?! The program of films include:
