Beltline Record Club-The Jazz Session

Sunday, December 17th

Beltline Record Club 9: The Jazz Session is a special event for all the Jazz Heads out here in Calgary and beyond. On Sunday, December 17 at 7:00 pm we will be welcoming Montreal-based live streamer Sam Pinnachio to Sweet Loretta for a conversation about jazz, records, and live-streaming. Sam’s show Vinyl Junkies is the premiere live-streamed show on Twitch focused on vinyl records, digging, and jazz music.

This event will be live-streamed on the Vinyl Junkies channel via Twitch from within Sweet Loretta to combine the BRC and Vinyl Junkies fans into one viewing audience. Troy and Sam will talk music and play records as per usual, but this time we encourage you to bring a jazz record of your own (all jazz forms welcome) for Sam to play on the Sweet Loretta soundsystem and livestream throughout the universe. Be part of the BRC Jazz Session, on Sunday, December 17, 2023.

The CKUA Events Calendar is a listing of music, arts, and culture happenings for the whole province. It is a terrific resource that CKUA offers to the community, to share details about concerts, gallery openings, plays, and films.

Please note that due to the amount of listings, we publish events that focus on music, arts, or culture. While we’d love to publish all submitted items, the sheer number of events means that we sometimes have to decline submissions.

Need to change or update your submitted event?

Email details to and the CKUA team of calendar volunteers will do the rest.
