TDM will be joined by two sharp singer-songwriters who are exploring new sounds in their newest releases. He checks in with Alejandro Rose-Garcia, aka Shakey Graves, on his summer schedule and how his newest release, Can’t Wake Up, moves away from the Americana sound he is best known for.
Later on in the show, Donovan Woods checks in from a grocery store parking lot in Mississauga to talk about his new LP, Both Ways. He and Mulligan talk about the ambitious new album, eschewing a desire for fame and what exactly it is that drives Donovan to write new material.
