CKUA is building a unique little community of people with a wonderful thing in common. Eight Alberta residents have now won cash jackpots in CKUA’s 50/50 raffles. And the payouts are big!
The most recent winner, Julie, won $150,765. In fact, every raffle CKUA has held since the first one launched in 2022 has given the winner over $100,000.
It’s more than a fun way to change someone’s life. It’s an important pillar of CKUA’s ongoing fundraising efforts. Each total jackpot is split between the lucky winner and CKUA. The portion that goes to CKUA supports our innovative broadcasting, technology upgrades, and community connections at festivals and events.
