Grant Stovel is on his way to Australia for a few weeks of rest and relaxation. We briefly considered asking him to host Alberta Morning from there. Things got a little complicated, however, when we realized that the time difference would mean starting Alberta Morning at midnight, Australia time. Too confusing!
Grant says the program will be in good hands while he’s away. “I’m looking forward to the way my illustrious colleagues will each bring their unique musical zest, curiosity, and knowledge to the wildly early morning weekday vibe! Goodness knows I’ll be striving to stay up late and catch it on the app, maybe after a late-night play at the Adelaide Fringe Festival, or a midnight DJ set at the world-renowned WOMADelaide music festival.”
