You did it, dear listeners.
You took us all the way to one million dollars (and then some)!
In addition to generating much needed funds to keep CKUA on the air, our campaigns are a chance to celebrate the CKUA community. In doing so, we are reminded of how big and diverse the CKUA community is. Here are a few examples:
- Between staff, hosts, volunteers, board members, special guests, partners and friends, it took more than 90 talented and caring people to bring the campaign to life throughout April.
- More than 10,000 of you answered the call, including nearly 7,000 monthly donors. You come from 398 different communities in 11 countries on four continents.
- More than 600 of you took the plunge and became a first-time donor to CKUA.
From all of us at CKUA, we can’t thank you enough. To know you are surrounded by so many who care about something the same way you do is a humbling feeling and something that we take to heart every day.
