Thank you so much, CKUA donors. Fall Fundraiser 2024 is in the books and we are so grateful. We had so much fun, and we are happy to report that CKUA has exceeded its million-dollar goal!
The funds raised enable continued programming and operations for CKUA. Through your support, we will keep entertaining and inspiring a growing community of listeners across Alberta, Canada and around the world.
We have been so moved by your generosity, and we share our joy with our remarkable community of CKUA donors.
When Lionel Rault turned off the microphone at midnight on Sunday, October 27, this is where we stood:
$1,079,635 in total donations
439 new donors
241 new monthly donors
4,108 total donations
Since then, even more donations have come in. Tune in to Alberta Morning on Friday, November 1, when CKUA Board Chair Lindsay Hood will join Grant Stovel to provide Fall Fundraiser updates at 6:45am and 8:15am.
CKUA’s Chief Development Officer, Kevin Fitzgerald, says, “The CKUA community has spoken! A huge thank you to the 4100+ donors who stepped up and told us that they love our intelligent and diverse programming, and they value the strong sense of connection. Our campaign revenue is growing, and our listenership is growing. CKUA is truly Aberta’s voice for music, arts, and culture, and our donors provide the fuel that makes this possible. You’ve told us that we can’t stop, and we’re responding by telling you that we won’t stop!”
If you missed your chance to donate, it’s not too late. We’d love to receive your donation. Pledges of support will continue to be added to the Fall Fundraiser total.
Donors keep the music playing. You are loved and you are thanked!
