CKUA’s Fall Fundraiser will include two Open House events—one in Calgary and one in Edmonton. We’re making big plans to welcome the community, and you can enter for a chance to attend a live broadcast with Terry David Mulligan and Allison Brock in Calgary. Please join us!
Saturday, October 21
Open House at The Calgary Foundation CKUA Studio
851 – 4 Street SE
3pm – 5pm
Join us at our studio on Music Mile in Calgary’s East Village. There will be light refreshments (including cupcakes!) and activities for all ages.
5pm – 7pm
At five o’clock it’s time for the Wide Cut Stew. Mulligan Stew host Terry David Mulligan and Wide Cut Country host Allison Brock are on the air together for a special FUNdraiser broadcast. We are inviting you to be a part of a live audience as they spin gold, share laughs, and raise funds for CKUA!
Space is limited and registration in advance is required. The draw is now closed, and attendees will be notified on October 19. The King Eddy will also be airing this special episode.
Saturday, October 28
Open House at The Edmonton CKUA Studio
9804 Jasper Avenue
Noon – 5pm
Our Edmonton building is the historic Alberta Hotel, and it houses broadcast studios, our music library, and a beautiful lobby and performance space. Join us for refreshments, building tours, and live music. We will be asking our guests to write a message to the station, or for their favorite host. What is your favorite show? Why you love CKUA? What CKUA means to you? We’ll have kids’ activities, too.
