Collaboration Brew: Multiple Transmitters

News

It is a special day when we get to collaborate with friends in celebration of something great. To celebrate CKUA’s 95th Birthday, The Establishment Brewing Company from Calgary and Bent Stick Brewing from Edmonton joined Blindman Brewing in sunny Lacombe to brew a northern German-style lager.

After a long lagering period, our friends are ready to get this brew to you in celebration of CKUA and 95 years of radio. All three breweries are big fans and supporters of CKUA, and champions of Alberta music, arts, and culture. We appreciate their impact and influence on the music scene and in our shared communities.

It’s a Dortmunder Lager, called Multiple Transmitters. This is a limited release brew, and we expect it to sell through quickly, so pick yours up today.

So join us in raising this brew to honour CKUA and offer congratulations on 95 wonderful years of sharing great radio with us all.

– 5.5% alc./vol.
– 473ml cans (sold in four packs)
– It will sell for about $20 for each 4 x 473ml pack

Find it at:

– The Establishment Brewing Company, Calgary
– Blindman Brewing, Lacombe
– Bent Stick Brewing, Edmonton

Share in the birthday fun! Enjoy a taste of Multiple Transmitters, and $1 from each glass sold in our brewery partners’ tap rooms will go CKUA.

You can also grab your own 4-pack to go. Staff at each brewery’s tap room will provide the opportunity for guests who purchase the beer to scan a QR code that brings them to a donation page where they can donate directly to CKUA.
