Our next in-person festival experience for CKUA Summer is KDays. Every July, when the midway comes to town in Edmonton, there’s music galore. This year, KDays and CKUA Radio have partnered to bring you a stacked local entertainment lineup.
The CKUA Radio Stage at the KDays Music Festival features 10 days of diverse Canadian and local talent at the Edmonton EXPO Centre. All CKUA Radio Stage shows are FREE with General Admission.
Performers at the CKUA Radio Stage will include Bedouin Soundclash, Flowshine, Buckwheat Zydeco Jr. & The Legendary Ils Sont Partis Band, Crystal Shawanda, MonkeyJunk, The Blackburn Brothers, Aysanabee, Robin Cisek, Pepperland, Kreesha Turner, The McDades and De Temps Antan. You can also enjoy Pride Night and SlamFest featuring Top Talent Wrestling. Find the whole schedule here.
CKUA host Joe Hartfeil is excited about many aspects of the KDays experience. “I’m looking forward to once again forgetting, then immediately being reminded (the hard way), that I should never again go on the Crazy Mouse rollercoaster. Lest I learn the true meaning of ‘Tex-Mex Sago Spiral.’”
“And of course,” he adds, “we can’t forget the music. It’ll be a pleasure to welcome Bedouin Soundclash and Calgary’s Flowshine to the CKUA Stage on July 17, which will be among our live broadcasts for CKUA Summer.”
Join us in person or live on air as we celebrate all KDays has to offer, July 17 – 26.
