CKUA Chillout

The days may be short and the nights may be cold, but that doesn’t mean the music stops in Alberta!

Welcome to CKUA Chillout 2026, our trek through Alberta’s winter festival landscape. This year, we’re bringing the best of SIX Alberta winter festivals to our community across the province and around the world. Whether you’re joining us on-site or keeping cozy at home, we’re bringing you closer to the fun with interviews, livestreams and live radio broadcasts, and in-depth festival previews!

First up, we have Bob-Sled in Calgary, followed by Winterruption in Edmonton. No matter which side of the province you’re on, there’s no shortage of great music and good times headed your way this January!
