2024 Holiday Book Recommendations

Story

Welcome to the fourth annual edition of Holiday Recommendations from Alberta’s Independent Bookstores. These shops are community hubs and promoters of the arts, all around the province. And wow, do these people know books! We invite you to support them when you do your holiday shopping.

CKUA asked each bookseller to recommend two books for the 2024 holiday season. One choice could be wide open, and the other had to be by an Alberta author. Enjoy!
