For many years, Fringe festivals across the globe have connected audiences with unique theatrical experiences that can’t be found anywhere else.
Now in it’s 17th year, Calgary Fringe has showcased many unique, funny, often thought-provoking and sometimes shocking live theatre performances in the late summer months.
This year’s Calgary Fringe features – in addition to a wide range of indie theatre – puppetry, queer comedy, an immersive arts installation and several award-winning plays.
The festival kicks off this week on Friday, August 4, 2023 and runs through to August 14,2023 . The festivals Executive Director and Producer, Michele Gallant, joined CKUA’s Lisa Wilton on Tuesday’s Traffic Jams to spotlight the upcoming festival.
