Terremoto comic arts exhibition opens at Latitude 53

Michelle Campos-Castillo is a comic artist, and an earthquake survivor. She and her family were living in San Salvador, El Salvador in 1986 when tragedy struck.

Michelle uses her childhood recollection of the event as a springboard for Terremoto, a new comic arts project being unveiled at Latitude 53 in Edmonton, Friday July 24th. Michelle will draw out her recollection of the traumatic event on the walls of the gallery in real time. Recently Tony King spoke with her about the project:
