Blindman Brewing has released its Super Session Ale, proudly crafted in Lacombe, Alberta. Each can of pale ale showcases a short story from one of 16 Alberta authors.
The 7th episode in our Session Stories Series features Roadside Beers by Sue Farrell Holler. Sue is a Grande Prairie based Children’s author who has been enjoying the creative freedom that the pandemic has provided.
As well as writing for adults and children, Sue devotes time to volunteer activities that improve opportunities for children to connect with books, and the people who write and illustrate them.
She jokes that her Session Story is “the only story her adult family members will read” thanks to the liquid enticement that comes with the story. Her sense of humour is on full display in her story Roadside Beers:
