What do songs from the 1920s have to offer to us in the 2020s?

Well, coming up this week, Arts Commons’ Jack Singer Concert Hall plays host to Jazz at Lincoln Center: Songs We Love. It’s an evening of all-time classic jazz music from the 1920s through the 1950s, performed by a touring group of brilliant musicians headed up by Riley Mulherkar.

Riley is a trumpeter, arranger, songwriter, and educator with Jazz at Lincoln Center, a world-renowned New York City based organization that’s as much about global community outreach and education as it is about celebrating great jazz music.
