Orange Shirt Day prompts an Indigenous Writers’ Panel

Authors Eden Robinson (L), Richard Van Camp, and Lee Maracle are set to discuss themes of intergenerational trauma and Indigenous resilience in their work as part of a roundtable.

Orange Shirt Day: Indigenous Writers’ Panel on Literature on Intergenerational Trauma and Healing takes place online on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at noon (MT). The Zoom-based round table is hosted by the University of Calgary and the Calgary Public Library. The panel will be moderated by Dr. Michael Hart, UCalgary’s vice-provost of Indigenous Engagement.
