On Theatre: Eugene Stickland shares ‘The Innocence of Trees’

Calgary based playwright Eugene Stickland pays tribute to Saskatchewan-born abstract painter Agnes Martin in his new play, The Innocence of Trees.

The world premiere production kicks off Theatre Network‘s newest season in Edmonton. The show opens Nov. 22 until Dec. 11, and runs in conjunction with the Agnes Martin: Retrospective at the Miller Art Gallery.

On Tuesday’s Traffic Jams, Nov 22 at 5:45pm MT, Stickland joins Lisa Wilson to talk about why he wanted to bring Agnes Martin’s story to the stage. Tune in!
