As we turn the calendar to a new year, the Town of Banff is set to greet a new Poet Laureate. Accomplished poet and author Derek Beaulieu will take on the job, as Steven Ross Smith‘s two-year stint as Poet Laureate reaches its conclusion.
CKUA’s Scott Zielsdorf is rapidly becoming our in-house Poet Laureate reporter. He’s recently spoken to Poets Laureate of Edmonton and Calgary; and he’ll be adding two Laureates to his list when he’s joined by both the outgoing and incoming Banff Laureates!
