Woezo Africa Music & Dance Theatre presents a celebration of the cross-cultural connections of dance. “Unganisha: Explore. Connect. Dance.” comes to Contemporary Calgary for two shows on Saturday, February 25.
Taking direct inspiration from the Swahili word for “connect”, Unganisha is a multi-media dance showcase that explores the African roots of Hip-Hop and Tap through a wide variety of dance and dramatic performances.
